Torsdag 18/11

Igår så började vi på vårat projekt, vi började med att komma på våran spel idé. Det gick ganska snabbt att komma på en bra idé, det blev ett labyrint spel där vi använder mycket ljus effekter.

Sen började vi med att komma på vad varje person ska göra i gruppen; Marcus ska hålla på med design dokumentet, Todd ska hålla på med level design och jag (Joar) ska hålla på att organisera all programmering.

Vi startade sen på att skriva design dokumentet, Todd skriver om level designen, jag skriver om mekaniker och menyerna / och den text man kommer se i spelet. Jag testade lite runt i Unity och vi kom fram till hur fienden ska se ut och hur gubben ska se ut.


Workplan.



For this project every team member will program to some extent, with or without the supervision of the one responsible for the programming.

  • Joar: Will have the main responsibility for the programming of the game, as well as dividing the programming tasks to the group.
  • Todd: Will have the main responsibility for the leveldesign and the graphics of the game.
  • Marcus: Will have the main responsibility for the design document and other design related subjects, as well as making sure the work is done in time.
     

    Timeplan.

    • Week 1: Work will begin on the foundations of the game, maps will be planned, the design document will be started, all to prepare the development of the game
    • Week 2: Continue with the design document, and finish it of. the development of the first map will start, and the programming will be planned, and some features will be tested.
    • Week 3: Development will start, the maps will be implemented, the enemies will be made, programming of the basic features will start.
    • Week 4: The basic features of the game will be finished, and the programming of the more delicate features will start.
    • Week 5: All the features will be finished of and we will look for bugs and solutions to problems we had during the development.
